This project aimed to see how the use of electronic devices at night impacts our sleep
The study aimed to see if behaviours carried out close to sleeping had an impact on how well or how long we sleep. The study used sleep tracking applications available on smartphones to track the sleeping patterns of participants over 7 days. The study found that a combination of active media use and chronotype had the potential to disrupt sleep in participants.
